The 9 mm thick felt is ideal for raising the saddle. Felt is unique in its nature. Where other materials push away under pressure or can only be compressed into themselves, felt stays dimensionally stable and still has a pleasant spring when riding. In addition felt, like no other material, moulds more and more to the given shape through heat. The felt inserts take on the saddle and back shape and thus go with the movement more than other materials. Especially for horses that need good shock absorption, felt as an insert is ideal.
